Meth's flow and lyrics are dope as always but Red is a whole different story. He came off whack with nothing to say and talks about smoking weed on almost every song and that only goes so far. It was a half-ass effort on part of Redman and the album as a whole could have been MUCH better. Truly dissappointed. |

i agree and disagree with yal on this lil comment shit..a)yes the production could have been a billion times better. I wanted some bring the pain 2009 and we def didnt get that with this album. I gotta say ive listened to this on lap top speakers so when I play it in a car I know itll already be that much better but still...im feelin the lyrics for the most part, mef and red bring that always, but some of the beats and especially some of the hooks confuse the f%c# outta me...i dont y they f%c#ed wit some of them...its dam frusteratin...i like ms international, ayo, city lights, fathers day, 4 my smokers, and a few othas....
gorgeous geordie got a hell of a point though...with all this bs music out and the general public eatin it up, I like to see em put out that one club joint to show all these dumb fucks there still alive and can work the mic right...end of the day u jus gotta work wit it, take it for wut it is, AND DONT FORGET DEF JAM B FRONTIN ON MEF N RED TRYIN TO CONTROL THERE SHIT, n the boys is gettin old they gotta get that money....and if ya listened to this album and made opinions on it before smokin n tokin, well then u jus dont no wut ur doin |

The first 4 tracks are all dope and then after that it kinda drops off. miss international, father's day and all my smokers are all good too but basically the lack of good production throughout killed this album. |

The best beat on this album is the DJ Scrach track which actually MOP used in their old album. they stole the best beat on this album. lame. The original blackout will always be classic but the future looks bleek. Bustas albumb blows, Eminems is ok and BO2 just is the worst of the 3! sad month for hip hop. Trying to rock the east coast lyrics over a mix of dirty south crap music. Can't artist just be who they are and stop BSing us with crossover ish? I had high hopes but nope!..gotta leave this alone. Lyrically...Meth and Red are on point. Musically they gets the fail! |

They sound better on breaks, and record dirt. Every since Rockwilder stepped in they got on that goofy shit. I know that The Rockwilder song was probably their biggest joint, but it didn't fit well IMO. I'm trying to hear some Bring the Pain 2009 shit. The producer line up seemed like the product should have been better. If it wasn't synth / tech shit it was SOFT ass jazzy shit. Scratch had some heat, but I would have been happier if dude dropped some N.Y. Shit - Busta type beat. They should have fucked with dudes like Black Milk, Just Blaze, They did have Bink, (I feel one of his grimier Anthem type joints would have been nicer), M.F. Doom (No more than one track from him though, to underground for their status), Evidence (On that synth mixed with vocal sample shit), Alchemist, Jake One, True Master (Sweet Love is on of my favorite Meth tracks). The Intro track was what I was hoping for. Grimey, but up to date. |
