Comment: Reef can drop poetic lyrics or he can drop brutal rhymes with just as much effectiveness, but Fight Music is exactly what the name says. Punishing lyrics over absolutely knocking beats, GnB really hit a homerun here. Honestly there's only 1 skippable track IMO that being "Sun" which I just felt out of place with the rest of the album. Overall though I'd say it's an early contender for album of the year, the production, lyrics, and guest spots are all on point and deliver on what the title claims. |

Vicious Cycle was a pretty bad album for Reef in my opinion. It might not have been Reef himself, but the production makes most of that album boring. The samples are whack, flipped poorly, and overused. I bought that album and I wish I didn't. |
