| Item Summary | | As a follow up to 03's less refined, unofficial, Underscore, Extended Fam member Tonedeff returns with his official full-length debut album Archetype. As the title infers, Archetype isn't your normal hip-hop album, but is instead a far more musical experience in which Tonedeff incorporates singing into his already unique rhyme style, reminiscent of past songs "Homecoming King," on The Monotone EP, "Fast" on Hyphen, and "Morethanthis" on Underscore. This estranged piece of art is Tonedeff's creation from start to finish, with him producing ten of the album's fifteen tracks, writing both the lyrics and hooks, and designing the artwork. Archetype is also a very personal album, with Tonedeff rapping about everything from fear, love, and hope, to threesomes and inner struggles with temptation and religion.
