Item Summary
The debut album from these San Diego stalwarts features a who's who of independent hip-hop: Vinnie Paz (of Jedi Mind Tricks), ILL Bill (of Non-Phixion & La Coka Nostra), Sabac Red (of Non-Phixion), Kool G Rap, Outerspace & more. Over eight years of local support have made Randam Luck a force in the San Diego indie hip-hop scene. A raucous live act, Randam Luck have appeared with the likes of Evidence (Dilated Peoples), Jayo Felony, Don Carlos, De La Soul, KRS-1 and many more. "Conspiracy of Silence" is as much a tribute to hardcore independent hip-hop as it is a fresh take on the sub-culture that spawned franchise powerhouses Jedi Mind Tricks, Non-Phixion and many more.

Comment: Album is solid. However , In my opinion, this sound is well past being played out. With the exception of the excerpts from the movie "network" - i'd rather just go and listen to some old NonPhixion and JediMind ... PS. I bet you 50 bucks they BOUGHT their verses off of Kool G and ILL BiLL

Comment: Very impressive! The hard underground sound that hip-hop is missing these days. Impressive production and crazy guest list. Tracks like "1,2 hit 'em" and "move," are like raw energetic tracks, tracks like "where ya at," are dope party tracks, and tracks like "raw" are straight bangers!.Overall really impressive especially for a debut album!

Comment: The cuts with Paz, Space, G Rap and Billy Idol are hot, but the rest of the album is average aggro-conspiracy hip hop. You know, the 2001 era type shit. Decent album...definitely better than that atrocious Society of the Invisibles album...now THAT was absolute garbage.
