Item Summary
At the onset of 2006, Term caught his big break when legendary producer DJ Premier blessed him with one of his signature, scratchladen beats. "Watch How It Go Down" instantly became an underground classic and Termanology appeared on hip-hop's international radar. The conscious hood anthem garnered the earnest MC tons of praise, landing him in The Source's "Unsigned Hype" and XXL's "Show and Prove" columns. Since then, he has quickly climbed the industry ranks with his "Hood Politics" mixtape series and continued collaborations with DJ Premier and other big name producers. Term's hard work resulted in a joint venture deal with Brooklyn-based label Nature Sounds, which he signed in late 2007.

"Term has a unique desire for the culture as he touches on issues that I can relate to as a TRUE HIP-HOP HEAD. His flows are nice, and has creative subject matter that speaks for me, not every new MC comin' up can do that."
- DJ Premier

Comment: The album is nice. These n*gga's are on that bullshit if they ain't recognize Term's abilities. The album had great production even tho some of it been out for a while. Pete Rock's track was the sickest and the smoothest track I've ever heard from him.

Comment: This album is a step down from his mixtapes, plain and simple... I might still get it cause I like the guy but this was disappointing. This reminds me of Saigon, Papoose and Main. All guys that have been dropping classics on mixtapes for years but by the time their debut drops, their best work already lays behind them. That's exactly how I feel about Term. The best tracks are the known older ones that made him. Then there's a gap with the few decent newly recorded ones. What's left are some uninspired or even str8 crossover leftovers.

Comment: I don't really care about the names, I think any of the good beats get ruined by Termanology's rap... I know some people seem to like him but to me he sounds like a white version of Defari or something

Comment: well..in my thoughts on this is I cant believe any of these guys gave him beats in the first place. how many years you gonna bump the same two songs and act like your pun. dont disgrace him by comparing him with term, anybody can dropped two or three dope track some ill verses etc..still dont make him pun or anything in comparison to any m.c. in the same category as pun. im not even hating im just saying, this is a prime example of what being "gassed" really is, an ego is truely strong enough to delude someone. not too mention, he sounds more like eminem, than he does pun. disgraceful waste. premo buggin or he's caking it off this n*gga.

Comment: Objectively, this is a disappointment. For such a dope production line up, it fails to deliver on expectations. Term's lyrics are uni-dimensionally centered on street shit, much to his own detriment as the songs become repetitive regurgitations of the same subject matter. the biggest shame, is the complete waste of Hi-Tek's SICK beat on "In the Streets" with yet more street banter from Term....3 stars, no hate!

Comment: I was crazy dissapointed when I heard this trash! The saddest part of all, is Easy Mo Bee's beat is the best on the album, and the dumbass uses it for the intro! Fuck are you doing? All the other beats are horrible, except for the Premo tracks which are like 6 years old, and the Alchemist track. Worst Pete Rock beat in history!! trash......

Comment: I'm going to give this 3 stars. I've been bumpin' Term since he first got on the Premo track, his mixtapes are the shizz. But this album might have been a bit overrated. His lyrics were sick, don't get it twisted, it was the production I feel. Premo should have done more maybe. That 'The Chosen' track is sick though, Havoc did a cool beat.
