Name: CYPHER (Posted: 1/12/2010 8:00:00 AM; Partial IP: 5.12.126.2) Location: Stockton,CA Comment: At first I didn't like it on release but, it gets better. | Name: tceystone (Posted: 11/14/2003 6:12:00 PM) Summary: The Hardwork Shows Comment: Atmosphere puts other rappers to shame on this album. There are some really good tracks on it. One of my favorites is "Shoes", which has one of the sickest breakbeats I've ever heard. Ant's production gets better with every release. Slug's lyrics are still just as strong as they were before. This album deserves to be in your collection. There are some mediocre tracks, but they're are some really amazing ones as well. | Name: zenmartian (Posted: 10/19/2003 9:14:00 PM) Summary: Only A Few Highlights, But Still Good. Comment: At least when you compare it to most albums out there..Slug is still a genius, but is starting to become repetitive with his topics....Ant needs some new drum kits.... | Name: Atmos&Aesop4Life (Posted: 10/4/2003 5:08:00 PM) Summary: Holdin It Down Comment: Atmos still holds it down.....not their best but still ill has hell...Ant lays down some beats that seem to be far out there but they grown on u after listenin to it a few times...Slug throws down some crazy lyrics as always...pretty damn good work. | Name: bigtes (Posted: 9/26/2003 1:30:00 PM) Summary: Dope Comment: At first the album seems to be not that amazing, but after I had listened through it a few more times I could feel the dopeness of this album. It’s his best yet yo! | Name: Abusing_the_Slug (Posted: 9/26/2003 4:34:00 AM) Summary: F*ck Mainstream Hip Hop.... This Is The Music For Real Kids With Real Taste In Hip Hop!!! Comment: One of today's most ingenious producers with one of today's ingenious lyricist, perfect. F*ck those who say Slug went soft after “Overcast!” You people are ignorant and have no idea what his ultimate plan is for making his dent in the structure hip-hop. The first 3 cds have a gradual change on purpose and every cd (except “Se7en,” since it is a goof CD and almost didn't get released) link together perfectly. If you don’t believe me, ask him. He has a game plan, and he is a genius. 10 out of 10. | Name: confusion (Posted: 9/25/2003 1:33:00 AM) Summary: Nothing New From Atmosphere Comment: There are definitely some original tracks on here that I wasn't expecting. "Cat Van Bags" reminds me of some Deep Puddle Dynamics sh*t and that’s dope. Most of the other stuff on here is just like the rest. "In My Continental" sounds like a combo of "Party for the Fight to Write" and "Guns and Cigarettes" to me. Yo, and Slug needs to stop trying to sing choruses. |
