Name: Gobind (Posted: 4/17/2008 1:03:00 AM; Partial IP: 34.133.210) Location: Roseville, Ca Comment: This album is where hip hop needs to start heading. Some of the lyrics of this album made me smile at times or get that crazy chill from a line that was so deep it was shocking. Blue is a very talented rapper. Exile is an amazing producer. His ear for music is just jaw dropping. I love this duo. They are the hottest thing I believe so far in a LOOONGGGG TIME. |

Worth picking up - classic and soulful - sounds like it was released in the late 90's when greats like Mos Def, Talib and Common dropped some of their best. Brings you back to that time - production on "Show me the good life" is bananas. |

The productions was cool but could have been better at times... Simply Amazin is the hardest track & blu shitz on it... Blu is a throw back to the early 90's when Mc's use to get busy over track....This album is a hard act to follow & Blu is one of the best Underground Mc's... |

No bullshit, no filler, Blue & exile are perfect examples of the direction in which Hip Hop needs to head. People are starving for REAL music that they can relate too. Cop this without a second thought. |

The only negative is that the production sounds the same and it's a little on the soft side. I need to see more versatility behind the boards from exile, BUT it's definitely better than his solo album. |
