Item Summary
Camp Lo continues their roll with Another Heist. Once again the vivid imagery of Black Caesar, Super Fly, Black Belt Jones, Willie Dynamite, Dolemite and the like spring to the front of the mind as Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede take you through a brand new full length adventure.

The Bronx duo keep with their trademark blaxplotation inspired sound as they're joined start to finish by long time collaborator/producer Ski (aka Ski Beatz). In addition to being the man responsible for the renowned production found on Camp Lo classics like their legendary debut Uptown Saturday Night, Ski worked on Jay-Z's debut album, Reasonable Doubt, producing the cuts "Dead Presidents", "22 Two's", "Politics as Usual" and the hit single "Feelin' It". With Ski on board and behind the boards for the entirety of Another Heist, Camp Lo stays true to the sound that made them famous.

Comment: Uptown Saturday Night, was and still is their best album. That was unique and brought some serious heat.Everything after that has been mediocre and just trying to keep in line with their 70's shtick. The gimmick is played out now..nothing new here to hear. Decent but not great.Still better then the radio trash though no doubt.

Comment: This album is WAY better than the Stone And Rob album, and I'm thinkin it's because of the production. They should make Ski an official member of the group and run with that for all future releases. The overall feel is uniformly GOOD music. I've never disliked Camp Lo lyrically, but the beats have to go hand-to-hand and mirror the feel of the flow. "Boogie Nights", "Beautiful People", and "Love It Then" all go hard as hell. Mad props to Camp Lo.

Comment: For lack of a better word... Dope! Been a fan since "Uptown Saturday Night" and always found them to be unique in the way they incorporated '7o's themes (the Good Times parody in that video was hilarious).Overall solid effort. This is it..Whaat?!?

Comment: This is a truely incredable album, I couldn't cop the Black Hollywood cause my local record store couldn't get it, and I don't buy from this website cuz I don't have a credit card so hopfully my record store will be able to cop this for me.

Comment: Big look to Camp Lo, standing the test of time! Also to Ski Beatz (NC native) for keeping things on point! The man who put Jay-Z on the map! NC stand up, don't sleep on us!

Comment: My boys are back!!! Can't wait to hear this album, but uhh, at least one of the tracks ("Love It Then") has been out for a minute. It's a fantastically smooth spin on an already beautiful track, "Send One Your Love" by Stevie Wonder. Maybe it was on an imported album or something? I dunno, but someone got their hands on it last year & I've had it in my playlist since! It's available on Youtube. Type in the title. If this track is any indication of what the rest of the album will sound like (and I really think it is), I'm on pins & needles awaiting 10/20!

Comment: Hopefully this is better than their last effort...I was excited by 'Stone And Rob: Caught On Tape' when I heard the lead single but the album was kinda weak to me...let's see what these dudes have this go around....
