Name: Mike (Posted: 4/12/2008 9:36:00 AM; Partial IP: 24.194.225) Location: Queens, NY Comment: Karniege steals the show on this album. He'll make everyone quickly stop questioning a Cannibal Ox album because he holds it down. Vast Aire comes off on the album as usual. Production is flavor, one of the few dope albums of the first quarter. |

Name: Doktor_Zero (Posted: 3/23/2008 7:57:00 AM; Partial IP: 232.159.18) Location: Boston, what? Comment: Very nice offering from former jukie Vast and longtime accomplice Karniege.... Gives The Cold Vein a run for its money for sure. Production is newschool NY mafioso at its best, with a little bit of that rza swing to keep your head bouncin. Vast's rhyme style has clearly matured sinve TCV and Look Mom... and Karniege provides the same contrast as Vordul Mega but with a more complex rhyme scheme and smoother flow. definitely worth a check if you ever liked vast or the new school NY sound. |
Name: Tim B. (Posted: 3/21/2008 7:26:00 PM; Partial IP: 00.163.197) Location: Tampa, Florida Comment: I like Vast Aire's solo joint, and Karniege is probably the more talented emcee out of the two, but I wasn't really feeling this album. It's far from a classic, nice rhymes and beats nothing groundbreaking. |
