Summary

Billy Woods and Priviledge are the Super Chron Flight Brothers and Cape Verde is the third and final album in the "World Tour" trilogy. The Flight Brothers critically-acclaimed first release, 2007's Emergency Powers featured guest-appearances from Cannibal Ox, MF DOOM and Trife da God. The second, Indonesia, was a free-download that circulated so widely, Backwoodz Studioz ended up printing limited-edition double CD's to satisfy demand for hard copies. Now, 3 years after their debut, comes the third and final Super Chron album, Cape Verde. The LP boasts guest-appearances from Bigg Jus (Company Flow), Vordul Mega (Cannibal Ox), Lord Superb (Wu-Tang), indie-legend Masai Bey, and labelmates like Hi-Coup, Pastense and Zesto. The album is produced entirely by longtime collaborators BOND and Willie Green, with an assist from another old friend NASA (Def Jux/Uncommon Music). With the acclaim that followed 2009's free downloads like Indonesia and the Deleted Scenes mixtape, Cape Verde promises to be one of 2010's most anticipated underground hip-hop records.

Comment: This album is perfect, my favorite rap album of the year. These guys are informed, hilarious, and thought-provoking. Their sample game is amazing, my favorite being the Nas sample about changing your fucking format up. I agree, who is really trying to hear about your tire rims in 2010.

Comment: Taliban choking the life out these bitches? You think that is a clever metaphor that also refers to the Taliban's violence against women or him supporting the Taliban? Your answer will determine if you are an idiot or not.

Comment: i dont know if you ever listened to these guys but the got a whole track on thier first cd about terrorist attacks against america! this cd he constantly refers to the TALIBAN {choking the life out these bitches} refering to attacks against americans bringing our moral down. dont just nod your head, pay attention to what a rapper says if you wanna talk like you a hip hop head

Comment: yo B why you give it one star if ur gonna cop it? slowly put the crack pipe down... anyway this shit is a banger for sure, bigg justoleum up in this muthafucka killin it, willie green with the illy dope beats. not quite as classic as Emergency Powers lyrically, but the beats are more palatable for the masses and easier to get into. mad solid album, will probably get better and better with multiple listens, backwoodz all day
