    Product Details

Underground veteran mc/producer/DJ Superstar Quamallah, who first burst onto the scene in 1998 with his Don't Call Me John EP (ABB Records), returns with a proper follow up to 2009's Invisible Man album (Brick Records) --a record which gained accolades such as a prominent feature on the BBC's Gilles Peterson's Best Of 2009 show, finished as a Top 10 seller of 2009 on UGHH.com, and was supported by two 7-inch singles and videos, eclipsing over 150,000 views on youtube alone. For Talkin' All That Jazz, Quamallah is accompanied by rookie of the year candidate DeQawn and producer Izznyce. The end result of their collaboration is a truly cohesive album full of energy, noticeable chemistry between the artists, and an intent to create a distinguishable piece of work to be enjoyed for years to come. Much like Invisible Man, there are no guest spots -- Quamallah and DeQawn share mic duties on each of the album's twelve tracks. Listen to it in full, and enjoy.

Comment: On the real tho Quamallah and this new cat DeQawn are super underrated and if you find knowledge, fat beats, different lyrical styles and positivity boring then I guess this aint the album for you!

Comment: calling oneself 'superstar' is an immediate guarantee that you're a gassed up douchebag, along with the blatantly obvious fact that he is in fact, not a superstar, and unknown by all besides those who miss the golden era whose tastes have never evolved past the old school. superstar quamallah will put you to sleep

Comment: Izznyce is a dope producer. With Masta Ace on the mic, this could have been real big. This so-called "Superstar" is actually just a very average emcee.

Comment: This dude is mad underrated! Rhymes seem simple at times but both mcs def drop science very true of the late 80's - early 90's era. And it proves folks are sleep cause this album is easily a classic!!!

Comment: This album reminds me of the jazz hip hop from the early 90's. It feels like a mixture or ATCQ, Brand Nubian, Heiroglyphics, De La Soul, Wu-Tang, Digable Planets etc etc. Instead of guest emcees and multiple producers SQ & DQ did there thing over izznyce tracks, the result is a classic!

Comment: I got my copy this week and I got to say its dope! and def recommend checking it out and giving it a listen. The beats hit hard and the emcees flow over the tracks superbly. They got a cool little mashup vid on youtube too.
