Summary

"Beautiful Death Machine" is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed "Dagger Mouth" album, and is scheduled for release in March 19th via Suburban Noize/Battle Axe Records. When we created 'Dagger Mouth' we tapped back into the same creative energy that helped us create some of the classic albums in our discography," says Prevail. "Now that same creative energy is overflowing into 'Beautiful Death Machine' and has allowed us to raise the bar yet again."

To create their latest opus, "Beautiful Death Machine", Swollen Members regrouped with a revitalized energy and a vision to record an album that strengthens the group's musical legacy. Armed with their signature brand of dark, sinister, spellbinding hip-hop, Swollen Members emerged with an album that is aggressive, confident and commands listeners attention with its in-your-face attitude. On "Beautiful Death Machine", Madchild and Prevail have returned to the expressive, emotional, poetic and clever lyrical style that has earned them legions of fans, while Rob The Viking provides a dark backdrop of sick macabre beats.

Comment: Ahh yes , it's good to hear SM back together putting out real hip hop again , for a minute they had lost their way , meaning they tried to crossover! I copped their first cd in 2000 and I'll be copping this in 2014!!

Comment: I think it sounds somewhat like an AOTP crew album how upbeat it is. That isn't a bad thing but I was hoping for something more dark and weird like Dagger Mouth and madchild's solo Dope Sick. The album is pretty good but mainly Madchild is the main attraction and it shows, so a bit unbalanced. 4 Stars. auto -1 star for dubstep song.

Comment: This album is pretty dope and anyone that has half a mind would rate this joint 5 stars. I didn't expect for this joint to be this fire but considering hope nice Dope Sick was this is a good follow up a big improvement from Daggermouth!

Comment: Dope album. @chuck_B that is retarded, I personally think he's overated, that make me a wannabe producer who's butthurt? No, cuz that's my genuine opinion. That's like me saying anyone who thinks he's dope lies it in the ass. Lmao clown, it's called an opinion, everyone's got one

Comment: Any one who says C-Lance is over rated is a wanna be producer who is butt hurt. Not only is this a return to greatness for SM but Prevail steps his game up to an insane level. He is arguably better than Madchild on this shit. And the AOTP & La Coka features are fire. BUY THIS ALBUM. We are truly in a great era for underground hip hop.

Comment: I am a huge S&M fan and like this LP but it's not there best work. Definitely wish Rob had produced more songs. Having ALC and EV production would have really help them out too. The rhymes are all on point, they are in a great place lyrically but need that classic S&M production to really hit a home run. Definitely worth getting if you are a fan but it's not a return to greatness...

Comment: Good album.. Not going to sugarcoat shit, madchild held this album together.. Prevails dope but sort of boring.. Rob had some sick beats, aspect had a sick beat, I liked two of six clance beats on here.. I knew rob should've held down production.. (Or evidence/alchemist)

Comment: Can't wait to bump this one of the only artists out of Canada I enjoy. Should have been produced by rob, evidence, aspect and alchemist. Clance is ok, heard some good beats, but I find him very repetitive, he's no mean joe preem that's for sure. Definitely coppin this

Comment: @ d-stroi yeah I would love to hear them get back in the lab with Ev and ALC too. The thing I have read and seen Vinnie speak on Stoupe is there is no hate, he just wanted to go a different direction artistically and wasn't into making hard core Hip Hop beats anymore. Vinnie has said he respects and gully supports his new endeavors. So to me if the reason people hate C Lance is strictly for him making beats for JMT thinking he some how pushed Stoupe out of the way is ridiculous. The beats I have heard are cool, I really like the song Grenade Launchers on Madchild's solo LP. Anyways back to the new S&M LP I can't wait to hear it!

Comment: Wow I thought I was the only one you found C-Lance to be overrated....He has some beats that I like but most have that snowgoons sound that personally bugs me.... I'm not hating on dude but he seems to add to much to his beats, he will have good drums and then add some extra bland Mid evil sounds...

Comment: people started delevoping hatred for the guy because of the departure of Stoupe the enemy mankind. Once Vinnie Paz started to get more production from C-Lance people were like "wtf is up with Jedi Mind Tricks, and eff C-Lance, he cant hold Stoupes jock". Its kind of like the Michael Jordan/Scottie Pippen shadow scheme but this could just be speculation on my part. Either way, I think Lance has got some beats. Give the dude a break and let him do his thing. Like I said in the past, everyone is a critic. Personally I would have rather seen rob the viking, evidence and alchemist do this whole album but biggups to swollen

Comment: Don, stop spreading your negativity you jealous little cunt. If C-Lance is that bad of a producer then lets see what you got. C-Lance makes bangers, what the fuck is wrong with that ?? oh, you'd rather hear some gay mainstream shit?? go ahead, you obviously havent heard much Swollen Members before if you dispise them that much. YOu couldn't spit a dope verse or produce a hot beat so shut the fuck up little faggot.

Comment: it's like these guys make music exclusively for canadian wiggers. and whats with paz and all his camp hopping on th swollen members train? I guess they see the canadian wigger love in canada and want in. c-lance is a one dimensional hack that's never made a good beat and his shameless self promotion is sickening. he gets by by being a shameless dick suck that's willing to make beats for free. as long as he gets a copy of the album and some @ love on twitter. why he's been promoting this album so hard is beyond me, 0 ppl will buy the album because of something c-lance said. madchild is a joke and his gay wannabe b-real squeaky voiced cartoon raps embarrass me. it was only right these clowns did a joint with celph titled, the wigger lurch that dyed his beard so he could drop n*gga on wack rap tracks.
