Comment: I really liked this album. I feel they really go hard on this one. Prevail and Madchild both really impressed me with their lyrics and flows this time. Rob The Viking also did his thing, I love the production. Definitely worth the purchase.

Comment: heading back in the right direction,im a huge fan of s&m but like the majority of everybody else armed to the teeth was not a good look,im glad they've ditched tre nyce and dropped the autotune, theres some great verses on this album and some nice dark beats mad child and prevail are great on the mic,i would like to see them go back to working with the alc, evidence as opposed to keeping it in house all the time

Comment: Where is Moka Only, Dilated Peoples, Divine Styler, The Alchemist, Planet Asia, Nucleus, Son Doobie, Rattlesnake Jones, Buc Fifty, & Shabazz The Disciple? Sorry this album is vague. There's nothing SWOLLEN about it. They could have at least added "Block Star, Smells Like SM, North Star, & U Not 1."

Comment: Ignore these morons. The only ones who seriously like this album are the skateboard nerds who love Lady Venom and Fuel Injected. To everyone else, this album is NOT worth a purchase...I SHIT YOU NOT. From a professional standpoint this has got to be one of the worst albums to date given their previous caliber of success. I'd rather listen to Armed to the Teeth than this.

Comment: Uses the same snare? not really? all the work he did in this production is worth a nod. how dare you rate this one star and lock that vote in. only an asshole would do that. all the background effects he brought up for all the crazy movie and media references in their raps. that laugh in the background on "House of Sin" on Prevails verse just past the 2 minute mark fuckin kills me. go pick on 9th wonder or something asshole. that dork uses the same drums and everything every track.-not hating actually a big fan. rob the viking showed and proved here same with madchild and prev1. Comment: I'm really feeling this album. The beats on this albums have a sick dark feel to them. This record is far more superior than that shit they called Armed to the Teeth. It sounds like Mad Child really put his heart into this one. Prevail always comes correct. It sucks that Moka Only wasnt on this but I'm glad they didnt have that jackass Tre Nyce or what ever that fools name was.

Comment: Therman, It's because of Rob's limited productions that Armed to the Teeth and Daggermouth fail to meet expectations. He's a good producer but uses the same snare. To tell you the truth Swollen Members were better off with Moka Only. He really brought the fire to the group back then! But seriously guys this album is FAIL. I'm with 703hitman, they NEEEEEEED some drastic changes!! I've only listen to the album one time...I'm just so disappointed things have come to this. For starters they need to just dedicate an album full of remixes for Dark Riders, Deep End, Front Street, RPM, Bring It Home, Therapy, and Ambush.

Comment: i gotta come back on and say wow again. this album is the shit. how could you say armed to the teeth had energy and flow and then say that this record is clunky dry and boring? then for your pathetic rob the viking criticisms you say he is limiting their sound now, but he was funky fresh on Armed to the teeth? are you kidding me? I think so literally the opposite way from you dumbfucks its almost incredible. you guys are ass backwards. so if you think Armed To The Teeth licked hole and Balance and Bad Dreams and a lil Monsters In the Closet and a dab of Black Magic and 1 track off Heavy (Ambush) is your shit, then check this release out for sure, you will like.

Comment: Come on what the FUCK!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!! right now this album has got more love on hhdx are you fucking kidding me? THis bangladesh repping mofucka is an idiot (your beats lick butt cheeks by the way) and a cali faggot have some ridiculous reviews. I dont mean to hate but I am shocked at the absurdity of them. THIS ALBUM IS THEIR 3rd best in my book right after their first two releases (how many times have we said that?). it has got the edge over black magic just slightly. ROB THE VIKING IS A BEATS ON THIS ALBUM. IT IS SOME OF HIS BEST WORK TO DATE. THIS WILL BE THE ALBUM I LOOK TO TO SHOW PEOPLE/OR IF I AM JUST LOOKING FOR: THAT ROB THE VIKING SOUND. THIS IS THAT SHIT HEAR. MADCHILD IS THE SHOW SNAGGER BUT HE IS OVERALL ON POINT HE CAN BRING UP HIS CRAZY ASS ADDICTION AND PUT IT IN EVERY SONG AND MAKE THE FLOW AROUND IT DIFFERENT AND FRESH EVERY TIME. AND PREVAIL IS LURKING IN ATTACK MODE AT SOME POINT IN EVERY SONG THIS IS A FRESH ASS RELEASE AND A HUUUGE STEP UP FRO "ARMED TO THE TEETH". -WHICH SUCKED ASS. Why they hating on rob the viking? jesus, I dont know man I dont know man I dont know. my favorite tracks are #1-15. the only one I dont like is that saigon cheesy record label forced remix. I know saigon and swollen have an alliance but that shit was boring to me. kinda like that saigon album…

Comment: Defchronixz is right. I downloaded this a few days ago to see if it's worthy of a purchase...it's not. Daggermouth by far is Swollen Members' worst album. At least Armed to the Teeth packed in energy in it. Daggermouth has no guest appearances, all beats are produced by Rob The Viking which limits their flow, and the lyrics are unoriginal and repetitive. I understand that Mad Child went through some heavy drug issues but do you really need to talk about it in every song?? On one song Mad Child revealed personal information about his grandmother...personal suicide...touretes...we don't need to hear that shit. For those of you who are new to Swollen Members I suggest purchasing their first 4 albums. As much as people want to hate on Heavy it was still a good album compared to the music Swollen makes now. I didn't like Black Magic that much and Armed to the Teeth was a nice venture into street music. It's sad to see how many Swollen Members/ fans have left. No one has bothered to post on their myspace page yesterday for their release of Daggermouth...hardly anyone is commenting on them now... It's time for Swollen Members to go mainstream. Sign a fucking contract with a major record label and start making better music...please...you guys are too talented to be subjected to this. Regardless of which I'm still a fan of Swollen Members but I think it's time they venture into a different area. It would be nice to hear some punk, rock, r&b, and electronic beats from them. I just think Swollen Members need to cut the underground music bullshit and expand their wings to a whole new base. As much as I hate to say this but the majority of their Balance/Bad Dreams/Monsters in the Closet fans have abandoned them... Speaking of which we're still waiting for Black Magic Instrumentals, Armed to the Teeth Instrumentals, and Daggermouth Instrumentals when they get around to it.

Comment: Comeback album of the century. Goes back to their roots, place this between album number 1 and 2 in terms of beats / lyrics. The Members are back with a vengeance. After the last album, fans and critics agread: they fell off hard. This time its another ballgame: the come back game. And oh boy, did they play that game well. 4 out of 5!!!!!!

Comment: I WAS as huge Swollen fan since before Balance came out when I heard their first singles on record. Amazing!! You guys know! Then I heard the last album and almost puked! "do what you gotta do and sell out" I completely disagree! Swollen did nothing but destroy their reputation with that last piece of trash. How do you go from some of the greatest lyricists on the planet to rapping about gucci rags rims cocaine and oxycotin? I've seen them live back in the day and they tore the roof off the building!!! If Mad Child is still on Oxy and Prevail is still a coke head this album will be garbage. SOBER UP SWOLLEN AND PUT OUT SOME FIRE PLEASE!!!! I would like nothing more than to see Swollen return to their roots but I'm not holding my breath. X-Fan

Comment: All beats produced by Rob The Viking? I have a baaaaaad feeling about this album...Dude why the fuck do they not collab with Dilated Peoples, Del The Funky Homosapien, Planet Asia, DJ Revolution, The Alchesmit, The Arsonists, Buc Fifty, Shabazz The Disciple, Brassmunk, The Oddities, Sunspot Jonz, Abstract Rude, Aceyalone, Mr. Brady, Styles of Beyond, etc anymore? Hell the last album was a sellout which I have no problem with. When money is low you gotta do what you gotta do. But if you're going to sell out AT LEAST MAKE IT WORTH IT!! Collab with Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, The Mars Volta, and other top music names. Swollen Members are holding their own potential back. The first 3 albums were great underground albums but it's time they stop that shit. Move on do something else and become legends. I just don't understand why they are holding themselves back...If they really want to make money then need to give Timbaland and Dr. Dre a call and gets some real beats goin fa sho! Hell I wouldn't mind seeing these cats doing a video with Lady Gaga. It's time to stop this dungeon and dragons shit, it's getting old. Make something else and move the fuck on, please! By the way Swollen Members are tight :-) lol.
