    Summary

Take a certified hip hop LEGEND, an underground future legend and the most noted producers in Europe and what do you get? Welcome to The Goondox!

This new powerhouse group consisting of Parish "PMD" Smith of the world famous EPMD, Sean Strange & Snowgoons was formed back in 2011 from what started as a friendly tour in Europe with the three independently run movements.

Sean & PMD's relationship dates back to 2003 when they recorded their first record together continued to develop as they performed on some shows together over the years and teamed up for a song featured on a track for Sean's 2010 release "Street Urchin". During the off days on the Europe tour Sean, PMD & Snowgoons recorded 2 songs and were so impressed with the turnout that they decided to do a full length album under the title "Welcome to The Goondox". Parish being noted for his many contributions to Hip Hop, including the discovering of legends like: Redman, Das Efx and more. Sean Strange being noted for his loyal cult underground following his past works with artists like: D12, Nature, ILL BILL and more. Snowgoons for handling the production for many respected artists from underground legends to hip hop royalty like M.O.P. and all of them known for their ferocious dedication for touring worldwide.

So far The Goondox has toured all through the USA, Canada and Europe since the formation of the group in 2011, completing over 200+ shows in the last 2 years including festivals such as: Rock the Bells, Hip Hop Kemp in Czech Republic and Royal Arena in Switzerland. With the album to be released on April 9th 2013, the hip hop community will surely take notice to this new powerhouse group.

Welcome To The Goondox features: Swifty McVay of Shady Records own D12, Hip Hop legend Smoothe Da Hustler, Swollen Members, Jus Allah of Jedi Mind Tricks, Underground heavy hitters Reef The Lost Cauze, Esoteric and of course entirely produced by The Snowgoons.

Comment: This album has some good verses and a couple of ok beats, all the songs are hit or miss, not the best snowgoons production at all and PMD and sean strange are an odd mix. And the sound quality is terrible, I tried liking this album but I just couldnt get to into it

Comment: This is by far the best REAL Hip Hop album I've heard in the last ten years. Outdoes even Lord Jamar's 5% Album, which is an outstanding album as well. If you don't like this and it doesn't make you want to run around rapping along and punching holes in walls, then you just don't love Hip Hop, period. Simply put: FUCKING AMAZING. Don't stop.

Comment: Horrible combination of PMD's (relaxed, simple 2 the point, stiff) style teaming up with Sean (instense, death metal rap) flow. I would of rather just liked to hear PMD over Snowgoon's tracks minus the over-exagerated Sean Strange.

Comment: its not anything lower than 4 if you like true hiphop. and been a pmd fan since 91. pmd kills it on the last song which is dope, and on his solo track. beats are dope too. dont like snowgoons usually but now I do. yo they convince me with this production. the shit i'm the most happy about is hearing new shit from pmd. its mostly the voice as guru said. plus all the smooth flowers are cool like sean p. roc marciano, rakim, rob o from ini, vast aire. etc...its a dope album.

Comment: Snowgoons production is so boring and repetitious. One song could just as easily be another. And it's the same droll lyrics that PMD is relegated to. No content or substance. Don't get me started on Sean Strange's obnoxious, over-the-top delivery and mundane lyricism. It's just ignorance for the sake if ignorance. No thanks. Everytime I pick up a Snowgoons LP its the same thing. The same washed-out snares and kicks and the same "epic gladiator in the coliseum" samples. Blah.

Comment: This is a WASTE of a ALBUM...PMD is definately not in tuned to Music of 2013. Out of all the dope artist to put on We get a album with Sean Strange? He is no Das, Redman or anything close to what PMD has put out. Sean Strange can rap but not special.Sounds like PMD is back with TopQuality type acts.Sad Erick please help your partner he is ruining EPMD with this wack album.BANGOUT the best song on the album Smooth Bodied everybody on the song...
