    Summary

For the last three years the restless Twin Perils have released consistently. Two group albums and two solo releases from June Marx and Lone Ninja, as well as various appearances and collaborations have kept their names circulating within the underground. The Brooklyn, New York Natives return with Speak and Destroy, with lyrics that range from the militant to the mystical over lush soundscapes accompanied by rugged basslines. The gasmask and the balaclava are back again. Twin Perils, Speak and Destroy.

Comment: Fan of Twin Perils; that being said this was not their best effort. Dark Alliance was excellent. Hate to think of how many verbal darts Marx threw that missed their target b/c of his production. Like loading a full clip of 40 cal hollow points into a super soaker.

Comment: I can see the Wu resemblance but not with RZA I think he sounds like UGOD...still they are too unique to be called copy cats. Lyrics are completely different and ideas being voiced in the albums contain no remblance. At first glance though they do seem to be cop offs of the killer bees.

Comment: Its not a bad album I guess but these dudes are chomping hard on Wu Tangs dick. That one dude does his best to sound just like the RZA. LMFAO at the blatant biting in the whole sound.

Comment: The mere mortal peasant casts forth scorn, but to his horror his words are powerless against the drive that these two possess. The are pioneers of a whole other world and they my friends... are beyond compare!

Comment: Take the raw youthful angst of "Dark Alliance" with the professional sound and feel of "Word Supremacy" multiply it by 100 and you have "Speak and Destroy"....what's not to like? Perils always drop heat.
