Summary

The Keynote Speaker is the all new solo album from Wu-Tang Clan founding member U-God, his first release for The RZA's Soul Temple imprint (The Man With The Iron Fists Soundtrack, Ghostface Killah's critically acclaimed Twelve Reasons To Die both of which featured appearances from U-God). This is the gritty street-level hip hop album U-God fans have longed to hear. The album is Executive Produced by The RZA and features stellar appearances from Method Man, The GZA, Inspectah Deck, Styles P, Elzhi of Slum Village, Kool Keith and more...

2013 marks the twentieth anniversary of The Wu-Tang Clan. In addition to his own solo dates, U-God will be appearing with the Wu-Tang Clan on concert stages throughout the world.

Limited edition 7 track Soul Temple/Wu-Tang sampler CD on Disc 2, which includes "Execution in Autumn" by the Wu-Tang Clan (never before available on CD).

Comment: It's dope, it caught me by surprise. I didn't expect it to be this good. U-God was IMO always one of the least interesting of the whole crew. Good Job. MAKENPAYEP$ clearly not knows what he/she speaks. Ghost and Rae have been murdering everything they touch, Mefs been killin shit on his features, Dek stays killin some shit, RZA is still killin the beats.....dude needs to get a clue.

Comment: lately U-god has been using that golden arms redemption flow again...he kills the verses on legendary weapons...and cant say they fell off without RZA but the production they used was bullshit when they use bullshit producers and started to try to make music for these young hoppers out here..cuz I like 4th disciple, mathematics, bronze nazzareth, and tru master when they make dark raw beats that the WU should be using but they started taking production from some lames or these wu producers where trying to make radio relavent beats which threw the whole wu game off...cuz I liked the wu when they were RAW killing the mic no chorus and rza banging out beats with samples, think he was using the sp-1200 and then went all bobby digital and shit.

Comment: I gotta agree with everyone below, the snippets sound very promising. The funny thing is if you asked me 15 years ago what wu tang member would still be dropping dope solo albums in 2013, i'm sure U-God would be near or bottom of my list.

Comment: Agreed madry. Only it doesnt look like RZA wil prolly handle any of the actual production. Nowadays being an "executive producer" could he'll have as much to do with the album as my cat Felix. However, the album does sound very solid so far snippet wise. I wanna see production credits. What took UGod so long to realize this is the type of album that will work for him. Alot of the WuTang cats had a ruff time in the 2000s moving away from RZA production. Wu is no doubt on the right path. 5 percent reign supreme yo.
