The legendary Bronx crew adds another classic to their catalogue with 'Ultra Laboratory Stories', an album delving deep into the Ultra lab vaults of unreleased vintage and current tracks produced solely by TR and Moe Luv. The music ranges from their early years during 'Critical Beatdown' all the way up to 'The Four Horsemen'. The more current tracks stay the course and continue the New York rap sound that started heavy in the Bronx. Kool Keith, in Rhythm X mode, Ced Gee, Tim Dog plus new affiliate Fred Beanz deliver clever wordplay over hard, grimy beats programmed on the SP1200. The distinctive sound will not disappoint true Ultramagnetic MCs fans as this does not stray from their legacy and is consistent with their high calibre of releases.

Comment: Peace to everyone who supports and loves this album. This album is an official release, on my label Black Pegasus not a bootleg or any unreleased recordings behind Kool Keith's back!! So please dead all the rumors!! Lars, has his facts mixed up, Keith had issues with Ced-Gee back in the late 90's with the release of the Basement Tapes on Tuff City Records by Aaron Fuchs. That was sorted out because Aaron Fuchs decided to cut Keith his check before his head got flown!! Look out for the new EP dropping real soon and the videos for "Live and Learn" and "Pain and Changes" remix We will be hitting Europe/Scandinavia, starting off in Stockholm, Sweden at the Berns club. Lars make sure you hit us up to be added to the guest list!!

Comment: It's 100% fine to have your own favorite of all time...just a little shocking choice to me but not a bad one. I like Ultra but I personally think they are not even in the top 15 or 20 all time.

Comment: yes, there was disagreement's between group members about some previously unresleased material that was put out,but the best kept secret was official reunion album ( I admit it was lame album), and Kool Keith is officialy involved in this, plus Tim Dog.what more can you ask for ?? this is pretty good album / compilation.anyone dissing ultra is an idiot.they are probably best rap group ever...at least in my opinion

Comment: To be honest with you LARS...I don't CARE who put it out (whether it be Moe Love or Kool Keith, etc.)...I'm copping it...similiar to Moe Loe's BASMENT TAPES LP...this release is way better than Ultramag's last official lp "The Best Kept Secret," Kool Keith's latest Bikini-LP, & many of his later lps (not including DR. DOOOM 2)...how is Moe 'bastardizing' the Ultra name when this is the dopes shit the fans WANT???
