Summary

Legendary MC MF Doom (aka Zev Luv X of KMD) has opened up a lyrical wormhole which results in this classic CD - Now in Gold Edition! Contains a bonus gold-colored CD with instrumentals and accapellas, including the very rare "Saliva" instrumental produced by RJD2. The original artwork comes with gold tinted lettering.

This concept album evokes plenty of high comedy, street technology, and hijinks. Next-school beats by King Honey, Heat Sensor, and Max Bill move freely in the spaces between electronica and hiphop. Take a trip back to the origin of the Super Villain. An unanticipated time travel-machine breakdown left him stuck in the early 90's where he has no choice but to battle sucka MCs and carry out side-hustles so he can repair the time machine and go back to the future.

King Honey rips rock and roll as much as repping Philly Soul. Heat Sensor's bastard beat style borrows equally from electro, jungle, and modern composition. Max Bill's eyes are always linked to his ears so his beats are like drawings. Also contains production by RJD2.

Comment: We could go on and on but it all comes down to preference at this point. Granted yeah... past and present, cool but the LEVEL of the past emcees (excluding Ra and G Rap, and KRIS and a FEW others) lets say all those you mentioned PLUS... I am thinking about how I rock HipHop NOW. Those cats have always been dope but COULD... and I repeat COULD they impress me NOW???? Today. I liked KMD for the content in the 90s but now it is all lyrics and sick beats for me. Could BDK sting DOOM today? Could Masta Ace... could Schooly? The answer... a resounding no. Honestly. No direspect but DOOM is the truth... do you see OTHERS overrating him or do YOU? I didn't LOVE Chicago cuz Jordan played there, I LOVE the Lakers... cuz I always have. Like THAT. No bandwagon jumping I actually love the dude's flow. Like fried chicken in my mama's kitchen. Many try but the longer she cooks, the better she gets ;). Today ain't HipHop at all and the cats repping it are full of slackness. OUT!

Comment: @TheBALL I don't look at just present. What you've done in the past counts for more points to me. And doom has never and never will reach G Rap in his prime. Be like saying Roy Jones would of knocked out Tyson. And G Rap just one of many emcees that come to my mind that are over doom. I like some doom, but I think he truly is the most overrated emcee in the game. Chuck D, Schoolly D, Rakim, BDK, Masta Ace, Kool Keith, Sean Price, RA The Rugged Man, Percee P, Guilty Simpson. Just some current and past that come to my mind. And I didn't even add any Wu-Tang or D.I.T.C. members. Which we all know is over and beyond doom as well.

Comment: @ Phuc.Yew... My man... You know. Truthfully G. Rap was my ALL time, seriously ALL TIME (see verse ONLY from Mobb track "The Realest") honestly. I LOVED G. Rap but he has NOT impressed me LATELY an duntil and up to that point and actually probably still not to surpass DOOM. Listen to Zev, then listen to DOOM... "I owe it to a well refined rhyme flow". Dude is serious and he cannot be matched. I will give you that though, Sir. G. Rap is still ill (still rockin my best of Cold Chillin' double joint at least once a month) but no one is DOOM.

Comment: Come on DOOM... you know I am your biggest fan but I don't need wall art for my man cave... I need you to stay solid. Best MC in the world (STFU... ya'll KNOW it's true and who's doper... Oh Okay... just save your list, lyrically unstoppable metaphorically the best that ever did it honestly... K Peace) needs to bring it for the fans of real HipHop... give us something to talk about other than how much we HATE other MF'ers... see what I did there? Anyway... Have had this for YEARS, do not need again... Hit me!!! He LIVES this Villain $hit and honestly don't give a phuk... LOVE that. Stop with the personal attacks. Cop another artist... actually I persoanlly attack those I hate also... but the Villain really... don't... give... anyway, I love the "truth" this cat represents

Comment: Best rap record of the last ten years (this and Marcberg IMO). Funny, awesome, a game changer. Amazing beats and lyrics with only a one or two tracks I don't love. My favorite track: Let Me Watch. PS- DOOM, come with that Ghostface collab already and quiet the haters!
