First pressing of 500 numbered copies on gold/black vinyl
‘Til Shiloh is the fourth album by Jamaican dancehall artist Buju Banton.
Buju Banton brought dancehall to the wider world, with 1993’s album Voice of Jamaica. This album was a revelation, any attempt to better it would have been futile. And so, Buju Banton didn’t try, instead he moved into new directions. A couple of life-changing events are reflected throughout much of ‘Til Shiloh, listen to tracks like “Untold Stories” and “Shiloh”.
Musically, this is a gentler album than its predecessor, although still very much in a dancehall style. Widely considered as his international breakthrough.
