THE early 70’s classic DUB record featuring Scratch & Company: The Upsetters. These recordings are the producer’s known collaborators, featuring an assemblage of pulsating organs, distorted guitar scratches, and deep BASS. Vocals come in the form of the standard dub production arrangements and occasional Rasta philosophizing. The most striking track is “Tighten Up”, an infectious tune, with a fine groove that is transformed thru Perry’s production methods. The entire track is warped beyond belief almost sounding as if it’s under dreamy, Jamaican water.
