The Memphis icons are back together to create one of the most powerful album of the year with 19 new tracks including the hit songs “Say It To My Face (Rmx)” and “Still On Da Block”. This release also features an exclusive bonus disc that contains a “Chopped & Screwed” megamix by DJ Trick.
Al Kapone is one of the originators of the Memphis underground rap explosion and a pioneer of the Dirty South Crunk/Buck style of Hip Hop popularized by Atlanta artists such as Lil Jon. His fully motivated attitude landed him a writing/producing job for Craig Brewer and John Singleton’s Hustle and Flow. The soundtrack for the critically acclaimed Paramount/MTV Films movie has cleared 500,000 copies. Kapone’s credits included writing, producing and performing “Whoop That Trick”, “It Ain’t Over” and “Get Crunk, Get Buck”. “It Ain’t Over (Hustle & Flow Theme)” also won Kapone the 2006 Critic’s Choice Award. He is featured on the new Three Six Mafia Last To Walk album (Columbia) and co-wrote Lil Jon’s “Snap Your Finger” and E-40’s “U & Dat” songs. Moving forward, Kapone is focusing on writing for EMI artists and continues to develop new music and his live show with his live band. Showdown Reloaded is a new collaboration album with his long time friend, partner and producer Mr. Sche.
Mr. Sche is a musician and business mogul. Memphis’s very own Rap and R&B Artist/Producer/Entrepreneur Pioneer. Mr. Sche has been in the music business for over 15 years and has an extensive work sheet to show for it. He got his official start back in 1996, with his current group Immortal Lowlife. He has produced for top Rap artists such as Slim Thug, Lil Jon, T.I & Eightball and Hip-Hop legends such as Kool Keith & Tim Dog. Mr. Sche as toured and performed all over the US and Europe and he worked on John Singleton’s Oscar winning movie Hustle and Flow. Also Mr. Sche was nominated Best Producer and Best album at the 2007 SEA Awards and in 2009 was nominated for Best Indie Rap Album at the SEA Awards for We from Memphis and Vendetta albums. Currently doing production work for Atlantic Records and working on a new movie called New Memphis Money, Sche has also produced several adult films such as Black Pussy Bandits and Pimpin’ Aint Dead.
