Description
Traffic Entertainment brings you another classic reissue, this time from Death Row Records. One of the many highly successful and now legendary singles from 1992's The Chronic, "Dre Day" captures the early 90s G-Funk West Coast sound perfectly. Every track on the single is synonymous with the subgenre of Hip Hop Dr. Dre helped create. "Dre Day" is an all out assault on Eazy E, Dre's former NWA protege. It is remembered as the peak of their feud, as the next time they would meet would be in a hospital room, where Eazy E passed away from complications due to the AIDS virus. On the flipside, "One Eight Seven" is the track that introduced Snoop Dogg to the world. Also included is the very rare "Puffin' On Blunts and Drankin' Tanqueray," another classic track from Dre's extensive catalog.
