Return 2 The Love

Product Details
This is what you been waiting for!!! Sunspot Jonz and Luckyiam also known as the world famous underground group Mystik Journeymen return with their new full-length album in seven years "Return 2 the Love." This essentially is a "return" to what they "love" about underground hip hop music: raw lyrics and beats. All the woes and hardships that come with being independent and still underground for all these years is just part of the job and it comes beautifully across in their music. The album is sonically exhilarating from start to finish. Every track is rich in 808 beats and streaming with addictive silky melodies under the dope raps that the Journeymen are known for. R2L produced almost entirely by Sunspot Jonz with an exception to "Chase it" which is produced by Marty James, brings to life a new magical opus in the Mystik Journeymen journey. The album features guest appearances by fellow Living Legends members Scarub, Murs, Grouch, Eligh as well as extended family members Kirby Dominant, Bas1 and Marty James.

The Mystik Journeymen first came out in the mid-nineties and created a whole new California underground scene through their work. They independently released music, threw shows in their where house, and put out a magazine called Unsigned and Hella Broke. They traveled Europe before they put out their first album and continued to do the same even today. The people of Germany, Sweden, England, France, Japan, Australia are to name just of the few that have witnessed the raw energy and spirit of the Mystik Journeymen. Whenever the Journeymen hit the stage you knew you were about to see one of the best live underground hip hop acts the game had to offer. They are also the founders of the underground group "Living Legends" which in the future would pop out underground stars like MURS, Eligh, and the Grouch. The Journeymen first started on the Tascam four track with songs about life and love for yourself no matter how different or rejected the world might make you feel.

They were not the typical hip hop group or rappers, all of their verse's were like insightful sonnets. In one of their most classic albums The Black Sands ov Eternia, Sunspot Jonz proclaimed to the world to "Break that fear that holds you down!" Always about independence and building yourself into a better machine, the Journeymen have truly captivated all who have listened. WE ARE THE UNDERGROUND!!!
