On this release, Acoustic Levitation, Devin continues with his signature laid back flow tinged with smoke-filled references, relationships, and his life. Acoustic Levitation is Devin’s first studio album since 2013’s “One for the Road” making his return into the marketplace, and bringing his unique sound back to his die-hard fans who have been waiting for a new album.

The Rugged Man, Ras Kass, Styles of Beyond and many others, Apathy has finally put together a collection of 15 all original instrumentals. Painstakingly sequenced, mixed and engineered to keep your speakers thumping, this sub-aquatic album showcases Ap’s sharp skills behind the boards as he delivers his best sonic works without words. The prolific MC, producer and musician Oddisee’s new album ‘The Iceberg’ is a plea for humanity to dig deeper in search of understanding and common ground. His third release in just 12 months, ‘The Iceberg’ is a distillation of stereotypical tropes in hip-hop and beyond, 12 tracks about money, sex, politics, race and religion that appear superficial until his multi-dimensional lyrics unfurl to expose the complexities of individuality and identity: how we see ourselves and how others see us. Deeply soulful, and shot through with jazz, Go-go, gospel, thick R&B and hard beats, the album is a timely, poetic statement.

The Ill Adrenaline Records camp continues to push forward with pure unapologetic boom bap hip-hop. In 2012 Beneficence and AG (of D.I.T.C.) released the now classic collabo track/video for “All Real”, the strongest cut off Benef’s much sought after underground smash album “Concrete Soul”. The duo veterans are back at it once again with visuals and a limited edition 12″ for the Jazz Spastiks produced track “Smooth Hardcore”, taken off the critically acclaimed LP “Basement Chemistry” (2016). The single contains the original album version plus a 90’s ultra-jazzy remix from legendary producer K-Def (Real Live, LL Cool J, Tragedy, Lords of the Underground, Ghostface Killah, etc.), and a Latin flavor remix from up-and-coming beatsmith Brous One.
